Join The Osterhout Free Library, Luzerne County Historical Society, and Northeast Pennsylvania Genealogical Society as they host this event that will feature family history research tips and a chance to see the resources that all of these groups have that can assist you in your search for your ancestors.

The information provided will emphasize researching ancestors who lived in Northeast Pennsylvania. It will take place Saturday, April 18 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and lunch will be provided by Wegmans. The event will take place in three parts: first speakers in the lobby of the Kirby Health Center in Wilkes-Barre, followed by lunch at the health center, and then the afternoon will feature open house time at the library, historical society, and genealogical society.

The cost for the event will be $10 per person and proceeds will benefit the three groups.

Participants may pay by cash or check, and they can sign up in person or by mail at either the Osterhout Free Library, the Luzerne County Historical Society, or the Northeast Pennsylvania Genealogical Society. If paying by check, please make the check to the Northeast Pennsylvania Genealogical Society (NEPAGS). If signing up by mail, please include your name, address, phone number, and email address.
